- Prepared and submitted an organizational process-improvement project proposal to KOSGEB. The project was accepted and supported by KOSGEB. All 15 process requirements for SPICE Level 2 were completed in preparation for certification.
- The SPICE assessment was successfully completed during the first four-day assessment meeting, and Ankageo received its SPICE certification.
- Conducted research on Deep Learning frameworks, video object detectors, and Artificial Intelligence algorithms and worked extensively with TensorFlow.
- Prepared the initial technical blueprints for determining the technologies, Deep Learning frameworks, and Machine Learning algorithms to be used in the Video Detector project.
- Prepared, contributed to, and evaluated new TÜBİTAK and KOSGEB project proposals submitted by Ankageo. The projects were accepted.
- Prepared and delivered a new seminar series titled High-Quality Software: Design and Testing in Software Construction.

- This was a one-year process-improvement project supported by KOSGEB, with the objective of obtaining certification after completion of all 15 process requirements for SPICE Level 2.
- The four-day SPICE assessment was successfully completed, and Teracity received its SPICE certification in November 2017.
- Prepared the KOSGEB project New Generation Management Information System for R&D Centers — Bilimp v2.0 . The project was accepted and initiated.
- The project was designed to provide interactive user-interface functions including a 3D talking face, 3D holographic interfaces, a robotic visitor management system, voice-based work-information input, voice-based user alerts and guidance, and biometric user interfaces such as face recognition. These additions were intended to provide the required input/output functions for a future Artificial Intelligence-based version of the system.
- Conducted research and prepared the initial blueprints for determining technologies, scenarios, and use cases, and developed business and technical requirements for Artificial Intelligence-, Machine Learning-, and cloud-based next-generation projects.
- Delivered seminars on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Data Mining.
- Participated in TÜBİTAK-TEYDEB project and R&D Center annual-assessment meetings to present projects to reviewers.
- Contributed to the System/User Requirements and System Architecture of an international TÜBİTAK project.

- Contributed to establishing a 100% English Computer Engineering graduate program, which began in 2014.
- Founded three Computer Hardware Engineering laboratories between September 2011 and September 2013: Logic and Computer Design Laboratory, Microprocessors and Embedded Systems Laboratory, and Computer Networks Laboratory.
- Developed the initial contents of courses and laboratory activities and taught courses based on these laboratories.
- Over six years, taught 26 undergraduate courses representing 15 different courses and 10 graduate courses representing eight different courses in Software Engineering, Cloud Computing, Big Data, Data Mining and Machine Learning, Computer Networking, and Computer Hardware Engineering.

Key Activities:
- Developed the Galaxy Hardware Description Language (GHDL) as part of my master's studies.
- GHDL was one of the tools of the Galaxy CAD Environment developed by Prof. John F. Beetem and his students. Galaxy was developed for digital-circuit simulation.
- GHDL, as part of the Galaxy CAD Environment, was used at the University of Wisconsin–Madison and at many other universities in the United States and subsequently became a commercial product.
